Floral Bow Ties
Floral and botanical bow ties, from ditsy prints that read as texture to full jungle designs that very much do not. All printed, cut and sewn to order in our workshop in Britain, in self-tie and pre-tied.
A bow tie carries pattern differently
There’s less fabric in a bow tie than a tie, and it sits higher, right under the face. That means a print you’d find loud in a tie often works perfectly well as a bow tie: there simply isn’t enough surface for it to dominate. It also means very small ditsy prints can disappear entirely at bow tie scale, so if you want the pattern to be visible, go a size up on the print rather than down.
Florals, foliage and jungle prints
The floral designs run from hydrangeas and magnolias through to daisies and small country prints, in soft shades like cherry blossom and dusky pink as well as stand-out oranges and reds. Beyond the flowers, our botanical and plant prints include the best-selling eucalyptus print bow tie, rainforest jungle leaf designs and intricate vine prints that have been hugely popular for weddings, all mostly green and leaf, which reads as far more subdued than a floral.
For weddings and everything else
These work as floral wedding bow ties for grooms and groomsmen, but equally for a wedding guest, an event, or an everyday look that needs something other than a plain tie. Available in our standard butterfly shape and, for many designs, in large evening. Self-tie or pre-tied, both adjustable to fit a 14″ to 19″ neck.
Most designs match across a tie and pocket square in the same fabric - cut from one run, so the match is exact rather than approximate.
